Lisa Busnengo is an abstract acrylic and mixed media artist.  Most recently, her artistic expression has lead to the creation of a series and signature collection of pieces she has entitled 'Astral Portraits'.  The Astral Portrait shown above is 'Fullness Composite'.  

                                           

In August of 2022, Lisa was approached by Concerts@the Point representative, Nina Rensenhouse, with a request to collaborate.  Concerts@the Point is a non-profit organization that pairs local artists with classical musicians. 
On March 26, 2023, a small assembly of Lisa's work was on exhibit in collaboration with a performance by the 'Frisson Ensemble'.  Featured on the posters and programs for the concert is Lisa's piece 'Spin' 1.

" 'Frisson' comes from the French word meaning 'a shiver or a thrill, a sudden feeling of excitement'.  We feel that Lisa Busnengo's dramatic color combinations-yellow, orange, green, and that wonderful deep blue-produce just such a feeling".   Nina Rensenhouse
